Board Member Information

NMF is led by an Executive Board— with a Chair of the Board, Chief Financial Officer, President, and Directors of Programs and Events. The Executive Board guides the primary activities of the foundation. The Board assumes ethical and fiduciary responsibilities for the foundation, and it makes final decisions on budgets, work plans, grant allocations, awards, and program and grant development. The Board is responsible for NMF’s financial and programmatic management.

We are proud that our Board membership is comprised of individuals with depth and experience in areas that support our mission. Our Board members are from the academic community, business, and environmental and housing fields. They bring vast experience that enhances our ability to conduct our business and focus on our mission.

The Advisory Board, whose members serve as resources to the leadership of the foundation, acts as a resource to all parts of the foundation. These members provide their technical expertise in a wide variety of areas and assist the foundation in endowment and fundraising activities.
