University Programs

Internships

Earth Day 05 — SalisburyNMF’s college/university internship program provides students with hands-on experience in the environmental field. We strive to reach students at all levels of their educational experience, and believe that internships provide a valuable avenue for students to gain real-life experience and become ready for careers in the environmental field.

The internship program is implemented according to each college/university’s internship program requirements. Typically, this involves internship applicants submitting a resume with a cover letter and references to a designated professor within the department that is sponsoring the internship. Once the applicant is selected, an NMF volunteer manages the intern, providing direction, tasking and feedback. The internships are paid positions, and can often be taken for credit.
